There are more cuts coming to the Canadian newspaper world. The Postmedia Network says it is cancelling the Sunday edition of papers in three of its biggest markets. The Ottawa Citizen, Edmonton Journal and Calgary Herald will become six-day-a-week publications. Meanwhile, the National Post will once again not publish a Monday paper throughout the summer. An unknown number of jobs will be cut as design work is centralized in Hamilton. Postmedia president and C-E-O Paul Godfrey cited the transformation of the newspaper industry.
